  • Fighting Central Hudson rate increases
  • Wrote and passed a bill (now law) ending automatic utility rate increases
  • Wrote and passed a bill (now law) requiring full transparency in rate increase requests
  • Wrote and passed legislation (now law) curbing late billing
  • Securing reproductive rights in New York State – no matter what the U.S. Supreme Court does by codifying Roe v. Wade with the Reproductive Health Act and other reforms
  • Fighting health insurance/health care monopolies
  • Strengthening and supporting common sense gun safety laws including the Red Flag bill and banning untraceable 3-D printed guns
  • Making it easier to register and vote by championing early voting and other election reforms
  • Wrote and passed a law ending conflicts at the Boards of Elections including requiring board employees to take an unpaid leave of absence if they run for office
  • Increased funding for schools and pre-K
  • Increased funding for child care to families
  • Wrote and passed legislation to bring transparency to job listing and regulate Ghost (fake) jobs
